I don't think I'm really cut out for keeping an LJ, I never seem to update the stupid thing, unless it's with something trivial. I did go and see my grand-daughter, she's absolutely beautiful and I adore her, like a proper grandma should. ^_^ I could sit here and fill you with stories and anedotes about the trip and our visit, but I must be suffering from writer's block because I have no idea where to begin. I just don't know if I should keep this thing going, I mean it seems to take a whole lot of dedication to keep it up. When I do get around to reading my friend's LJs I see that most of you tend to make at least one update a day...and there are things that happen in my day where I think, "Wow, I should update my journal and share this!" Then I don't...I get too busy doing other things, or too lazy and not interested in making the entry. Pretty soon the whole episode is irrelevant and not worth mentioning. My computer at home right now is on the fritz anyway, I'm updating from the library, so not having a convienent internet access makes it more tempting to just chuck it. Ugh, I don't know, I'll have to dwell on it some more...but I do know that I need to either use the dumb thing, or dump it, otherwise I just feel guilty for not using it.

As some of you know, my relationship with my husband has been a bit rocky as of late. We used to get along great, but over the years the problems around us seemed to chip away at us little by little until all we did was fight over the kids, finances, chores, work and whatever else came along.
We're trying to work things out, and I am just glad he's so patient with me. When I am on my last leg, when my patience is worn thin, and everything irritates me beyond reason, he's been going out of his way to be there for me, to make me feel better. Even after I hurt him, and I really hurt him bad, he's been more than forgiving. I try everyday to show him how much I love him, how glad I am that he's given me another chance, and how much I want to overcome the obstacles in front of us.
So, Sweetheart, if you bring up my journal, I hope you're seeing this, because I just want to say, I love you with all my heart, and I'm glad we're still together. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Don and I met a great couple over at the pool this week and we invited them over for dinner Friday night. They are both deaf and we spent the evening playing trivial persuit and learning how to sign. I am getting it down pretty good, but I jokingly commented that I probably stutter while I'm signing, which got them laughing...makes me worry that I really do stutter while signing...>.> Due to the fact that I am constantly laughing, they told me to sign my name they make the letter J and the sign for laughing. xD For some reason that makes me feel special. ^_^ They came back over Saturday for a game of Spades and we all had a great time, they're fun to hang out with! It's hard to find a couple that both you and your partner happen to like and have both of them like the both of you. I was sad to find out that he is renting out his house here and moving down south to live with her in Wasco, CA, but that's the way my luck has been running lately. She promised me that they would be up here getting the house ready through out August so that we will be able to get together next month for sure, plus she gave us her address so we could stop by and visit them when we go down to Bakersfield to visit Don's son, our daughter-in-law, and our grand-daughter, so that's kewl! ^_^
On another note, I have to get my ass in the kitchen and start baking a chocolate cake for Jeremiah, at this rate his birthday cake is going to be late ;_;. Where does the time go for God's sake! I promise Sweetie, you'll get your cake...sooner or later...probably later, but it will be there! ^_^

This is one of my favorite pictures of my sisters and me and I had my mother scan it for me and emailed it to me. When I got it it looked all pixelated. So I asked her for a physical copy and I have scanned it myself. It still looks all pixelated. ;_; Does anyone know how to fix this, I want to print out another copy of it, but I can't seem to smooth it out any. Here is the picture:

Don and I decided to take a trip with the kids to Six Flags Marine World, something we talked a lot about but never actually did. So we took them out of school and whisked them away for 9 hours of fun in the sun riding rides and watching shows. Actually, they had fun riding rides and I had fun watching the shows.
I had told Don that I didn't want to go on any roller coaster rides, made it clear that I no longer concidered having my stomach in my throat an acceptable feeling, but he insisted that I had to go on one coaster with him, to prove my love. >_< So I chose this little coaster, only three loops and the drop didn't seem too bad. So I allowed the kids (especially my no fear daughter, Jolene) and Don to convince me to go on it. Well let me tell you something, that not so bad drop had me looking straight down at the ground once the car got into position. While Don was laughing his ass off, I was busy holding on for dear life and planning his murder! =O Never again, I am quite done with that kind of thrill in my life. I took a ton of pictures (137, in fact) which I am busy editing and uploading and when they are all done I will post them here for all of you to see them.
I'm missing all of you terribly and hope that I can come back sooner rather than later. I've planned a few projects to keep me busy while I'm gone and I hope to be able to show off the fruits of my labors on my return. Love you all! <3

I'm just leaving a note to say that I'm turning off my Instant Messengers and I won't be able to chat with any of you online for a while. Things at home are on the verge of falling apart completely and if I'm going to save my marriage and my family I have to get off-line. I will still be checking my LJ and my email account so I won't be completely out of touch, but no more long chats in IM, I am way overdue at getting back to reality. I was able to catch most of you online tonight, but for those who I didn't, I have just a few special messages:
Paul - I hope you like the walrus, I didn't rest until it was safely out of that machine and into a box headed your way.
Brett - I've missed chatting with you on-line and now it looks like I'm going to miss you more. Call me anytime, I would love to hear from you.
André - I'll miss our late night banter, though you're on holiday now, I'm sure you will be back long before me.
Mike - You're such a good kid, I always love hanging out with you, testing scripts, and chatting. I wish New Zealand's time zone wasn't so far ahead of me, I would have loved to spend more time hanging with you.
John - You best have at least one new juggling video ready for me when I get back! >:O LOL and don't forget, no shirt and I want to see that tongue hanging out! xD
Kat - I wish now that I hadn't dropped off of IRC chat so much. I miss our banter ;_;. I promise that when I come back I will spend some time with my Kat-Kat >:}
For those of you that I'm not quite so close to anymore, I'm sorry we drifted apart, maybe I can mend that someday when I can spend time online without it destroying my family life. Take care everyone!
